So, rumors continue to leak out about the possibilities of Sony’s PSP2…

Due to the long wait for the Sony PSP2, rumor after rumor appears. So now, it’s time for CubeDini to talk about it.
So to start out, let’s look at another concept of the PSP2

Both of these concepts are quite aesthetically pleasing, but I personally hope they lean towards the first one, because it looks like they might utilize OLED for the screen. AAWWWESOOME!
Anyway, now for the juicy parts. It sounds like the PSP2 is going to include a PowerVR GPU, a processor similar to the one found in the new iPhone 3GS. For those of you that don’t quite understand, it means that the PSP2 will be able to handle graphics very similar to those of the original XBox. So maybe this won’t be something released in the near future, but it at least tells us where the handheld gaming market is heading. That’s pretty exciting!
In the meantime, I continue to ponder the purchase of my first PSP….
