Good news for you console geeks! The slimmer version of the PS3 is finally upon us! We all knew it would eventually get here!

The new PS3 is over 30% smaller than the original, and much more energy efficient. Not only this, but the price is also significantly lower, coming in at $300 for the 120gig edition. The new PS3 is packed with all the same great features as the original.
Be sure to look for the new PS3 on store shelves beginning September!

The Slm Model is nice for being able to shove it into a small crevice of your already cramped Entertainment cabinet. But the fact they are taking away the ability to install a secondary OS (Ubuntu) and The fact that its ugly makes it a bad sell. The $299 Price tag is Definitely and plus and still has the capability to upgrade the drive is definitely some competition for 360. They release some Netflix and you got a real console war!
