Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites were attacked this morning.
This morning, Twitter, Facebook, and LiveJournal were all hit with a Denial of Service attack, generated by a Botnet comprised of thousands of infected computers. This actually caused a fair amount of paranoia, making people feel alone and unable to communicate with friends. Apparently cell phones are a thing of the past???
Some geek out there must REALLY want attention. But I’m pretty sure that the kind of attention he’s about to get won’t be the good kind…
As of yet, the three attacks have not been confirmed to be from the same source, or to be related to each other.
